Reality Check

So, I get back to the office and find this:

Meeting Notice Subject Line:
“Two-day Workshop: Synergizing roles/responsibilities/deliverables across Product Marketing and Message Awareness”

Time to start forming a parallel universe. Thanks again to everyone for the inspiration.

Andrew ... and once you suffer through the meetings, will anything happen? This is the kind of stuff that bureaucracies always seem to drive into culdesacs.

Steve, No this one won't be driven into a culdesac, more likely into some kind of Skinner box where the only result will be confusion, complexity and no one having any idea how to get out.

OUCH! is right. I feel your pain. (but at least the subject line provided me with a good long laugh until i realized this wasn't parody.)

Gee Andrew,
I can relate. When I got back to the office I didn't find anything that creative in title (the Army likes to think they are direct) but a new requirement to summarize any trips we took. No problem, but in a paragraph! How can one possibly summarize what took place this weekend in a paragraph that would look rational to the burecratic mind. Solution was selective non-compliance :-)
